Soul Surfer (2011) is a sports and drama movie scheduled to be released on April 8th, 2011 in theaters worldwide. This movie is directed by Sean McNamara, produced by David Zelon, David Tice, Ricardo S. Galindez. It was based on the book "Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family and Fighting to Get Back on the Board" written by Bethany Hamilton. It features AnnaSophia Robb, Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Kevin Sorbo, Lorraine Nicholson.
Soul Surfer (2011) centers on Bethany Hamilton. She is born to surf. It is her natural talent who took to the waves at a young age. She and her bestfriend Alana compete in a national competetions when everything changed in a heartbeat. Bethany was on typical ocean outing when a shark attacks her and lost her arm. The attack seemed to shatter all her dreams but the love of her parents, Tom and Cheri, she refuses to give in or give up, and begins a bold return to the water. Now, her surfing, her biggest dreams and her life have become about pushing her own physical limits to touch the souls of others.
