Battle: Los Angeles (2011) is a science fiction and action-adventure movie scheduled to be released on March 11th, 2011 in theaters worldwide. It was rated PG-13 for sustained and intense sequences of war violence and destruction, and for language.Battle: Los Angeles (2011) centers on a new platoon leader named Marine Sgt. Nantz. He leads against nasty, fast, and a killer aliens. Together with his new platoon, he leads against a surprise attack on Los Angeles, attempting to rescue civilians in Santa Monica and destroy the hub of the enemy's mysterious power grid, while similar epic battles are waged across the world in other cities. The movie described by some as "Black Hawk Down meets Independence Day".
