Rio (2011) is a comedy animation movie scheduled to be released on April 15th, 2011 in theaters worldwide. In this animated comedy, he is a nerdy macaw leaves the comfort of his cage in Minnesota and heads for adventure in Rio de Janeiro. Blu thinks he is the last kind but he discovers there's another and that she is a she. Rio de Janeiro is far from love at first sight between him and the fiercely independent, high-flying female named Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life’s many wonders.
